know who i am

An image from Christ Burstein, the founder of the Friction Dept.

I’m Christ Burstein
DJ, producer, and team coordinator with 15+ years in the scene.
I’ve built events from both sides — artistic and operational.
With my project "Los Cabra", I’ve toured clubs and festivals around the world.
I’ve also run label nights, curated bookings, and managed full teams for "Rural Records" events.
I’ve worked with broken timelines, wild personalities, no-show artists, and last-minute everything.
Not once or twice — every season, every edition. That’s why I stopped waiting for someone to fix it and built "The Friction Dept." myself.

I don’t offer motivation, I’m not here to give a workshop. I bring clarity, tension control, and fast alignment. I know how crews work — and how they fall apart. My job is to make sure yours doesn’t.
